Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural Human Rights and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
